Delegation of European Union to BiH, at the press conference held on 22. 09. 2010. in Sarajevo, presented 11 new projects supporting the micro, small and medium enterprises, as well as development of tourism in Bosnia and Herzegovina. These projects are funded by EU within the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA) in the amount of 3,8 million Euro. Centre for Development and Support is one of the awarded implementing agencies of EU grant. CRP's project titled „Development of agricultural cooperatives“ aims to increase the employment rate in agricultural sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The projects supported by the Delegation of European Union to BiH contribute to the development of micro, small and medium enterprises sector and tourism, as well as to increase of the competitiveness and economic growth in BiH. |






„We intend to increase the capacities of seven agricultural cooperatives from northeast BiH in terms of introduction of HACCP and GLOBALGAP quality system, strengthening of competitiveness for 200 of their existing cooperative members, as well as to expand the cooperative network for additional 200 members. This way, conditions will be created that target cooperatives increase the scope of their production and sale of fruits and vegetables for 20%, as well as the number of full time employees for additional 20 workers by the end of the project.“, said Darko Ivanić, CRP project manager.
